DT Global Is Hiring a GEDSI Lead Across Australia and Southeast Asia – Apply by 6 September 2026
Overview
DT Global Asia Pacific is recruiting a GEDSI Lead for the Southeast Asia and Australia Government Partnerships (SEAG2G) program. The program supports collaboration between Australian and Southeast Asian government institutions, helping them share knowledge, strengthen policy and technical capabilities and build long-term partnerships toward a peaceful, stable and prosperous region. Its four priorities are climate change and energy transition, education and skills, sustainable agriculture and food security, and effective and inclusive public institutions. The GEDSI Lead supports the Head of GEDSI & MEL in carrying out the program's Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion strategy.
What you will do
The lead helps build gender equality, disability and social inclusion considerations into program activities, agency agreements and work plans. This includes providing technical support and capacity advice to partner agencies and SEAG2G teams, and contributing evidence for monitoring, learning and reporting so the program can understand its inclusion outcomes. The work involves collaborating with stakeholders across several countries and institutions.
Requirements
The organization wants a GEDSI professional with a relevant tertiary qualification, such as human rights, gender studies, social studies or international development, or equivalent professional experience. At least five years of relevant experience in gender, disability and inclusion is needed, and government-to-government program experience would be valuable. Candidates should show experience strengthening GEDSI capability in institutions and development programs, understand intersectional GEDSI issues in Southeast Asia, and ideally have worked with government agencies in Australia or Southeast Asia. Experience with Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade programs is highly desirable. Strong written and spoken English, cross-cultural skills, independence, the ability to manage multiple deadlines and to work under pressure are also expected.
Work arrangements
The role is flexible. Australia or Southeast Asia is preferred and work-from-home arrangements are considered. Candidates should check the official terms of reference for the applicable location and conditions.
Key dates
Applications close on 6 September 2026 at 11:59 PM AEST. Candidates are considered on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
