Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead

Overview

CyberCube is hiring a full-time Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead for its London office. The role involves working within a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, actuaries, economists, risk modelers, and cyber threat analysts to build insights, scores, and features for products offering cyber risk analytics to the reinsurance and insurance industries. The position operates within a distributed, remote-first workforce and offers flexible working hours along with the option to work remotely. Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, cyber security, mathematics, economics, statistics, or a related discipline. The role requires three to five years of experience in defensive and/or offensive cyber security, with certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred. Candidates must possess working fluency in Python or R, SQL, complex data types including JSON and XML, flat files, APIs, and Excel. Additional qualifications include experience in leading and working within project teams, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, a consulting and communication presence, and the capability to translate real-world cyber threat behavior into modeling scenarios and assumptions.
