Overview

Cuso International, a Canadian-founded global development organisation that has worked for more than six decades to address poverty and promote equity, is hiring a Data & Donor Relations Manager. The permanent, full-time position is based in Ottawa, Ontario, on a hybrid basis, with a salary of CAD $74,909 to $93,636 per year. The manager leads Cuso's fundraising data systems and donor relations function, making sure its CRM, digital fundraising and marketing platforms support fundraising growth, donor stewardship, compliance and data-informed decisions. They act as organisational lead for Raiser's Edge, Feathr and FundraiseUp.

What you will do

On the data side, duties include leading use of Raiser's Edge and integrating fundraising and marketing data, administering the CRM, email and online fundraising platforms, managing access, maintenance and duplicate records, preparing mailing lists and donor segmentation, handling imports, updates and integrations, building reports and dashboards, analysing trends, supporting prospect research and working with Finance on gift processing and reconciliation. On the donor side, the manager directly leads the Donor Relations Team, improving acknowledgement and recognition, gift tracking, retention strategies and receipting standards, while identifying automation and process improvements and setting standards for data governance and quality assurance.

Requirements

Candidates need three to five years of Raiser's Edge experience, or a mix of Raiser's Edge and another CRM, at least two years in database administration, technical support or user training, and experience leading a donor relations or similar customer-service team. Strong fundraising and donor stewardship knowledge, segmentation and reporting skills, advanced Excel, analytical ability and collaboration skills are expected. English is essential, and French-English bilingualism is preferred.

Applicants submit a resume and a one-page cover letter in English showing how they meet the essential and desirable qualifications. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.
