WPP Media is hiring a Senior SEO Consultant for a full-time permanent position based in Paris, France. The role sits within the SEO division, which is undergoing technical and product transformation. WPP Media is an AI-driven media operating unit of WPP that combines media, data, and partnerships. Requirements

Applicants must possess advanced and proven expertise in technical SEO, including log analysis, crawling, JavaScript rendering, and site architecture, alongside significant experience in scraping, automation, and data engineering applied to SEO. Candidates need a strong background in reference SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Oncrawl, YourTextGuru, Semrush, and Ahrefs. Proficiency in programming and query languages such as Python, SQL, and BigQuery, as well as API integration, is required. A strong product culture with an approach focused on continuous optimization is necessary.

Candidates must exhibit rigor, autonomy, a sharp analytical mind, and the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-expert audiences. A strong taste for experimentation, problem-solving, and building innovative solutions is expected, alongside ease in a cross-functional and collaborative environment. Professional mastery of both written and spoken English is mandatory. Preferred assets include significant experience on complex SEO campaigns within an agency or an advertiser, personal side projects or open-source contributions, and the ability to build custom solutions beyond standard tools.
