AI Systems Engineer

Overview

Snyk is seeking an AI Systems Engineer to join its London office. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying AI solutions that support internal operations and drive business value. Responsibilities include building software pipelines for machine learning and generative AI projects, optimizing AI infrastructure for scalability and cost-effectiveness, performing data integration and engineering, and collaborating with data scientists and business teams.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or have equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development. Necessary skills include proficiency in Python, experience building full-stack applications with end-to-end delivery ownership, and experience deploying applications to cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes. Candidates must also have experience with generative AI concepts, frameworks, and models like Langchain and OpenAI, coupled with strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience building and managing production-grade Retrieval-Augmented Generation systems using Langchain or Langgraph, and experience preparing data for AI system ingestion.
