Trade-in Buybulk Intern

Overview

Back Market, a global marketplace for refurbished devices and a certified B Corp, is offering a six-month Trade-in BuyBulk internship in Paris, starting in January 2027. Trade-in lets customers sell old devices such as smartphones, tablets and consoles, which keeps electronic waste out of landfill and helps Back Market source devices for professional refurbishers. BuyBulk is the centralised version of the service: one professional processing partner receives, tests and grades all incoming devices on behalf of the refurbishers and ships them in bulk, so the refurbishers can concentrate on refurbishing and selling.

What you will do

The intern helps the team reach its performance targets on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. That means tracking and monitoring KPIs, supporting regular reporting and one-off analyses, improving reports and tools, and running key operational processes and checks to keep performance and customer satisfaction steady. The intern also supports larger projects, such as automating processes, reports, analyses and alerts, building or improving processes, tools and reports for quality control, customer care or pricing, and helping structure big projects through benchmarks, research, action plans, stakeholder mapping, timelines and follow-up.

Requirements

Candidates should be looking for a six-month internship and have fully professional English and French. Advanced analytical and data manipulation skills, exceptional attention to detail and advanced spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas, are expected, along with basic SQL or willingness to learn it. VBA, Zapier or other automation and visualisation tools are a big plus. Prior experience as a business analyst, category or operations manager, seller success manager or in consulting or investment banking is ideal.

What you get

The internship is full time at 35 hours a week, paying 1,200 to 1,400 euros per month. The work model is hybrid, with two remote days a week, one remote week per quarter and three flex days.
