Software Engineering Intern

Overview

Datadog is offering Software Engineering Internships based in Madrid, Spain. Interns help build, scale, and improve the real-time observability and security platform systems. Participants work on backend, frontend, infrastructure, data engineering, and developer tooling projects, processing large volumes of metrics, logs, and application data while collaborating with experienced engineers and mentors.

Who can apply

Applicants must be enrolled at a university in Spain and expected to graduate in 2027 with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Candidates need strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and software design, along with coding proficiency in one or more programming languages. Applicants must have experience with or an interest in using AI-assisted coding tools, and must be available to start an internship in February 2027 on a full-time or part-time basis.
