Overview

Datadog, the observability and security platform, is offering an IT Support Technician internship in Paris. The Enterprise IT Support team looks after the hardware and software that Datadog employees around the world use every day. The intern combines academic learning with hands-on practice, taking on more responsibility over time and gaining exposure to security-related tasks within IT support. Datadog operates as a hybrid workplace.

What you will do

Duties include learning to provide customer service and technical support to employees, shadowing and supporting laptop deployment during onboarding and refresh cycles, and laptop collection and account deactivation during offboarding. The intern joins new hire orientations, helps with ticketing, account management and basic troubleshooting under supervision, maintains hardware and software inventory, and contributes to documentation. Further responsibilities include supporting conference room communications setups, multi-factor authentication setup and troubleshooting, device enrollment through mobile device management tools, access management processes, identity verification, and following procedures for basic IT security incidents under supervision.

Who can apply

Applicants will graduate in 2027 with a degree in IT or cybersecurity, and the internship must be required as part of their academic curriculum. They should be passionate about technology, enjoy teamwork and helping people, have a basic understanding of computer hardware and software, communicate well in English, with French appreciated, and enjoy problem-solving. The six-month internship must begin in February, March, April, May or June 2027.

What you get

Interns work alongside engineers across the globe, take part in mentorship and buddy programmes, join an in-person intern cohort and company social events, and may receive relocation support and travel benefits. Office perks include snacks, drinks and catered lunches on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
