Overview

Mirakl Labs offers a software engineering internship focused on ads, located in Paris, France. The role provides an opportunity to work within a team contributing to the development and enhancement of an AI agent that autonomously generates and executes test scenarios, including new feature validation, regression testing, and exploratory testing. Interns help design, write, and run test cases to evaluate agent performance, explore technical approaches, and benchmark results under the guidance of experienced engineers and QA team members.

Who can apply

Candidates must currently be pursuing a degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field at an engineering school, university, or through a career change, and must be looking for a 6-month internship. Applicants need to bring a first hands-on development experience acquired via an internship, academic project, apprenticeship, or personal project, along with a good understanding of a programming language and proficiency in working with large language models while developing skills or agents. Additional qualifications include an appreciation for software quality best practices such as testing, clean code, and design patterns, as well as being a strong team player with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and problem-solving. Language proficiencies require fluent French and professional proficiency in both written and spoken English.

What you get

The position includes a monthly pay range of 1,200 EUR to 1,400 EUR.

Requirements

The technical environment utilizes a back-end stack of Java 21 and Spring Boot, a front-end stack of ReactJS, and data and messaging tools including Kafka, ElasticSearch, and PostgreSQL. Tooling and practices encompass CI/CD, Git, Docker, and monitoring.
