Security Associate - Internship
Overview
Alan is offering a six-month end-of-studies internship for a Security Associate based in Paris, France. The role is designed for students seeking practical cybersecurity experience rather than a side project. The intern joins the Security team as a full member, focusing on topics ranging from compliance and certifications to vulnerabilities, detection, and incident response. A dedicated coach guides the intern, supervises their thesis, and helps them choose topics for maximum impact. The goal at the conclusion of the internship is a full-time job offer.
Who can apply
This opportunity is open to students reaching the end of their studies in an engineering or security track who are looking for a six-month internship. Applicants should have solid basics in security and IT, proficiency in coding with Python to automate repetitive tasks, curiosity for new topics including compliance, a strong sense of risk management and trade-offs, and collaborative skills to work constructively with engineers. Clear structured written communication in English is required, while French is considered a plus. Additional advantageous background includes CTFs, personal security projects, a previous security internship, or cloud and SaaS experience. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.
What you get
Interns receive a dedicated coach for personal growth and thesis supervision, top-of-the-range equipment including a Macbook Pro, keyboard, laptop stand, monitor, and Bose noise-canceling headphones, and a flexible work environment offering office space, sponsored co-working hubs, or full-remote options with home office equipment sponsorship. Additional benefits include flexible vacation policy and working hours, country-specific commuter benefits, learning and training opportunities with a flexible policy, free books, and budget to attend and speak at conferences.
