Business Associate Intern (Online Business)

Overview

Joko is a certified B Corp tech company helping millions of users save time and money through its AI shopping app. The Online B2B team is seeking a Business Associate Intern to support the growth of the e-commerce business in France and internationally, with a specific focus on expansion into the United States. This internship is based in Paris, France.

What you do

Interns will develop and manage partnerships by building a portfolio of leading brands, negotiating commercial agreements and promotional campaigns, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners. Responsibilities include driving growth through data insights and operations by analyzing partner performance, extracting actionable insights, and guiding partners to maximize their results. Additionally, interns contribute to commercial, analytical, and cross-functional projects by collaborating with Marketing, Product, and other transversal teams to shape new initiatives and product launches.

Who can apply

Candidates must be enrolled in a top engineering school, business school, or an equivalent institution, seeking either an end-of-studies six-month internship or a second gap-year internship. Applicants are required to have a minimum of six months of prior experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment, technology, or consulting. Fluency in French is required, along with strong written and spoken English proficiency to support international expansion.

Applicants need to demonstrate a pragmatic problem-solving approach, an entrepreneurial mindset, a willingness to tackle challenges hands-on, and complete autonomy in managing complex projects from inception to completion. The hiring process consists of an introductory screening call, a team interview, a take-home case study followed by an interview, a leadership interview with a SteerCo member and a Founder, and up to three reference calls.
