Commonwealth Shared Scholarship In UK 2027 (Fully Funded)
Overview
The Commonwealth Shared Scholarships offer fully funded opportunities for international students to undertake a one-year Master’s degree program in the United Kingdom. Funded jointly by the UK Government and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, the program aims to support talented individuals who lack the financial resources to study abroad. Eligible academic pursuits fall under six primary development themes: science and technology for development, strengthening health systems and capacity, promoting global prosperity, strengthening world peace, security, and governance, building resilience and responding to crises, and access, inclusion, and opportunity.
Who can apply
Applicants must be citizens, permanent residents, or holders of refugee status in an eligible Commonwealth country. The list of eligible nations includes Bangladesh, Cameroon, Eswatini, Ghana, India, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, The Gambia, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, and Zambia. What you get
The scholarship covers all major expenses associated with postgraduate study. Additional financial provisions include a warm clothing allowance where applicable, thesis completion financing, and complimentary study tours conducted either within the UK or in other countries. Tuition fees are fully covered by the program.

Applicants must apply for and secure admission to an approved Master’s course at a participating UK university alongside their scholarship application.
