Shift Supervisor | DSL-01

Overview

Skynrg is hiring an experienced Shift Supervisor for DSL-01, a large-scale production facility located in Delfzijl that will produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and byproducts such as propane, butane, and naphtha. This role combines project work and operational responsibility. During the current project phase, you will actively contribute in day shifts to preparing the factory operation, commissioning, and startup. Once DSL-01 becomes operational, planned from the spring of 2028, you will lead a team of operators in shift work and take charge of the daily management of a complex chemical production installation.

Requirements

Applicants need experience and affinity with process engineering, chemical technology, or a comparable direction. Requirements include a completed VAPRO C or AOT level 4 education at a minimum, and at least 10 years of experience within the chemical, petrochemical, refining, or comparable process industry. Candidates must possess demonstrable operational leadership experience, proven people development skills, experience with process automation and working with DCS and MES systems, and knowledge of process safety, work permit systems, and relevant laws and regulations. Additional welcome knowledge includes experience with greenfield projects, commissioning, startup, operational readiness, refining, hydroprocessing, or sustainable fuel processes, and continuous improvement programs.
