Senior Global Operations Associate - Air freight

Overview

The Senior Global Operations Associate position focuses on air freight and is based at the Flexport office in Paris, France. This role sits within the Global team and involves facilitating the movement of shipments while discovering and driving efficiencies to improve operations. The position connects internal teams such as account management and customs with external partners like subcontractors, carriers, terminals, and trucking providers to support logistics goals.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a BA, BS degree or have completed professional training as a forwarding agent. Candidates are required to have three or more years of experience in freight forwarding, along with direct air export experience. Fluency in both French and English is necessary, while knowledge of other European languages is considered a plus. Additional prerequisites include strong time management, attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, effective written and verbal communication, adaptability to new technology, and a compliance-first attitude. A CV submitted in English is required.
