Overview
WomenLift Health is offering a full-time remote position for a Senior Global Fellows Manager, Cross-Regional, Africa. The role involves strengthening leadership development programmes, supporting a growing community of women leaders in public and global health, and implementing the African Global Fellows workplan in alignment with the cross-regional strategy. The successful candidate will collaborate with African hub teams and colleagues in other regions to help women health leaders sustain their professional growth, build connections, and advance gender equality initiatives.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field along with a professional qualification or membership, accompanied by at least nine years of relevant professional experience, or 11 years of relevant experience without a master’s degree. Relevant fields include public or global health, gender equality, social development, and human-centred training. Candidates are required to have experience managing an alumni network, fellowship programme, or professional community, alongside strong leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills. Excellent written and spoken English, advanced technology skills, and familiarity with Microsoft Office, social media platforms, video conferencing tools, and project management software are essential. Candidates must live in and have legal work authorization in an eligible country within major cities across East Africa, Southern Africa, or West Africa. Work visa sponsorship is not provided.
