Senior Data Engineer

Overview

DFYNE Holdings Ltd is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to join the team on a permanent employment contract. This is a hands-on position based onsite at the DFYNE headquarters in Uddingston. The role serves as the first dedicated data engineer for the organization, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the data warehouse and help shape the future data capability of a fast-growing business. Who can apply

Candidates must have at least five years of commercial data engineering experience, along with expert SQL skills and strong Python development experience. Applicants should also possess hands-on experience with BigQuery or equivalent cloud data warehouse technologies, transformation frameworks like dbt or Dataform, and production data pipelines. Candidates are expected to bring an ownership mentality, a builder mindset, commercial awareness, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
