Overview

Legora is hiring a full-time Legal Engineer for an in-house position based in London, United Kingdom. This role combines elements of legal operations, product specialization, solutions architecture, and trusted advising. The primary mission is to help leading in-house legal teams maximize the value of Legora's AI-native workspace by transforming workflows and driving enterprise-wide adoption.

What you do

The position involves acting as a strategic thought partner to in-house legal teams to identify high-value opportunities for workflow transformation. Responsibilities include guiding clients from early pilots through onboarding alongside Customer Success, designing practical workflows for areas like contracts, compliance, and dispute management, and helping General Counsel build the case for artificial intelligence adoption. The role also requires delivering product demonstrations, creating scalable playbooks, and serving as the internal voice of the in-house lawyer to influence product development.

Requirements

Candidates must have meaningful experience working inside an in-house legal function, along with a strong grasp of related workflows, pressures, and business relationships. Strong legal judgment and credibility are essential, and a legal qualification is considered valuable. Applicants should be tech-curious, product-savvy, and comfortable with technical discussions concerning generative AI and implementation. Additional qualities include commercial awareness, strong communication skills across diverse stakeholders, and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with a proactive and self-directed approach.
