Design Engineer

Overview

Evervault is hiring a Design Engineer to evolve the company brand and product, with a heavy focus on design and user experience. The developer experience is a primary driver of success, and this role centers on creating interfaces that balance functionality and visual appeal. The position involves zero-to-one design thinking for new products as well as refining existing offerings, taking complex user interface challenges from concept to production-ready implementation, and building creative websites and landing pages. Additional responsibilities include designing striking brand materials, collaborating with content and marketing teams on value-explaining visuals, and maintaining design consistency across all products.

Requirements

Applicants must have three or more years of product design or related experience, the ability to write production front-end code in React, a sharp eye for detail, and a portfolio showcasing work they have both designed and built. Candidates must be based in London and able to work from the Shoreditch office from Tuesday to Thursday. Preferred qualifications include experience with Three.js or other three-dimensional libraries, TypeScript proficiency, and experience designing developer-facing products.
