Overview
Save the Children International is hiring a Senior Officer, Program Operations on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid and remote options and a global remit. The organisation works on humanitarian response, education, health, child protection and other areas supporting children affected by poverty, conflict and inequality. The post sits in the global programme operations function and the Programme Risk, Delivery and Performance (PRDP) team, combining coordination, project management, data analysis, communications, knowledge management and stakeholder engagement. About 40 percent of the work is global programme operations coordination: coordinating annual workplans, monitoring milestones and deliverables, preparing reports and dashboards, and spotting risks and dependencies. Around 30 percent covers programme risk, delivery and performance, including collecting and analysing risk information and supporting reporting for leadership. About 20 percent covers learning and knowledge management, and the rest covers communications and leadership support such as newsletters, presentations and workshops.
Who can apply

Experience in an international NGO or humanitarian or development body is an advantage.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in fields such as international development, business administration, project management, public administration or social sciences is desirable, though equivalent experience may be considered. PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or MSP certification, training in risk management or monitoring and evaluation, Power BI and SharePoint experience, and French, Spanish or Arabic are advantages.
