Remote Evaluation Consultant – Consultancy Opportunity with Bodmando Consulting Group: Apply By 25 November 2026

Overview

Bodmando Consulting Group is expanding its pool of evaluation professionals and invites consultants from any country to submit expressions of interest for upcoming remote evaluation assignments. It is aimed at Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) professionals with experience in low- and middle-income countries. Consultants may be engaged to support work within their own countries, depending on the assignment.

Bodmando is a women-led consulting firm registered in Uganda and Kenya, working on gender equality, climate action, social justice and sustainable development, with a team spanning Africa, South Asia and the Middle East and North Africa. It reports a network of more than 1,000 technical experts and more than 65 projects in 31 countries. Possible themes include health, gender, education, climate, technology, agriculture, human rights, finance, governance, youth, child protection, forestry, migration, social inclusion, trafficking, and market systems.

Who can apply

The consultancy targets professionals with about 5 to 9 years of experience in evaluation, research, data collection, quality assurance or stakeholder engagement, comfortable with qualitative and quantitative methods and working in multidisciplinary teams. Women, persons with disabilities, refugees and people from other marginalised groups are particularly encouraged.

Requirements

Tasks include training data collectors on tools, safeguarding and ethics, adapting and piloting research instruments, finding local partners and participants, supervising enumerators, running back checks, high-frequency checks and spot checks, reviewing documents, taking part in interviews and focus groups, helping write inception and evaluation reports, and offering methodological expertise such as Contribution Analysis and Most Significant Change.
