Overview
Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors (RPA), a nonprofit that provides philanthropic advice, management and operational support to individuals, families, corporations and foundations, is hiring an Analyst for its Sponsored Projects & Funds team. The post is remote and home-based. RPA acts as fiscal sponsor for more than 120 projects, giving them governance, management and operational infrastructure. The role goes beyond administration, covering grantmaking, contracts, expenses, project risk, client enquiries and internal systems.
What you will do
In grant management, the analyst tracks proposals, supports due diligence, prepares award letters and grant agreements, monitors grants and communicates funding requirements. In project operations, they track project expenses, support approvals, train people on systems and connect project staff with resources, resolving administrative problems with internal teams. They also draft and administer contracts using RPA templates, escalating complex ones to the Grants Management or Legal teams, and work directly with clients and project partners, responding to enquiries and building trust. Some travel may be required.
Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and about five to seven years in operations, office support, administration or client service. Project management experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are important. Knowledge of the nonprofit sector, grantmaking or nonprofit operations is an advantage, as is CRM experience and a readiness to learn new technology. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and prioritization skills are expected.
What you get
