Nava Design & Research Resume Drop Off | Remote Opportunity
Overview
Nava Public Benefit Corporation is running a Design and Research Resume Drop Off for people interested in joining its Design/Research or Content Strategy teams who see no suitable open role right now. It is not a specific job opening. Submitting a resume does not guarantee an interview or employment, but Nava may review materials against its hiring needs and contact candidates whose background fits a current or future opportunity.
Nava is a consultancy that has worked since 2015 with federal, state and local government agencies on technology modernization. It combines human-centered design with modern engineering to make public services simpler and more effective, helping agencies move away from legacy systems.
Who can apply
The drop-off suits professionals in design, user research, content strategy, human-centered design, digital services or related fields. The work is remote, but candidates must live in one of Nava's approved locations: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Washington, DC. Those living elsewhere will not be considered at this time, and work must be done from the contiguous United States.
Requirements
All roles require legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. Depending on the project, employees may need a government background check or security clearance, and applicants are asked about previous government and federal experience. Applicants should prepare an updated resume and a portfolio showing their skills and past work.
What you get
Benefits for eligible employees include medical, dental and vision coverage, disability and life insurance, paid vacation and holidays, parental leave, a wellness program, virtual healthcare, and a 401(k) with company match. There is also professional learning support, LinkedIn Learning, an annual allowance for courses, tuition and certifications, home-office setup help, utility reimbursement, referral bonuses, commuter benefits where applicable and sabbatical opportunities.
How to apply
Complete the application through Nava's recruitment system with a resume and, where applicable, a cover letter and portfolio details. The Talent Acquisition team reviews submissions. A match may lead to a conversation with a Talent Acquisition Partner, then interviews with hiring managers and team members, and possibly an offer. No deadline is stated.
