Makerere University School of Public Health Call for Applications: 49 Short-Term Positions under the STOP-AMDR Project
Overview
Makerere University School of Public Health, working with Jhpiego, has announced 49 short-term positions under the Scaling the Optimal Use of Multiple ACTs to Prevent Antimalarial Drug Resistance (STOP-AMDR) Project. The project aims to improve the optimal use of multiple artemisinin-based combination therapies as part of efforts to prevent and respond to antimalarial drug resistance. The positions support research and data collection, mainly in Buikwe and Busia districts in Uganda, with some activities at national level.
Who can apply
There are four categories. Qualitative Research Assistants (8 positions) support qualitative research, including field-based data collection. Enumerators (35 positions) collect research data in the project areas following study protocols. Field Supervisors (4 positions) oversee and coordinate field data collection and check that procedures and quality standards are followed. Costing Research Assistants (2 positions) support costing research and the collection or management of economic and programme data. Candidates with relevant research, public health, fieldwork, data collection, supervision or costing experience are invited to apply.
Requirements
