ICRC Entry-Level Jobs 2026: Requirements, Salary, Benefits and How to Apply
Overview
The International Committee of the Red Cross recruits graduates and early-career professionals into entry-level roles supporting people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence. The ICRC operates in more than 90 countries and hires across administration, finance, logistics, communications, information technology, data, healthcare, law, protection and humanitarian operations, with positions based in Geneva and in field operations worldwide.
Recent graduates can enter through associate positions and traineeships. The ICRC generally considers recent graduates to have no more than one year of professional experience after graduation, or up to two years when earlier traineeships are counted.

Requirements depend on each vacancy, including education, experience, languages and location. Relevant academic backgrounds include business, finance, accounting, law, international relations, communications, information technology, data science, public health, engineering, logistics and social sciences. Experience from internships, volunteering, research, university projects or community work can show transferable skills.
