Head Fund Operations Control / Middle Office

Overview

coni + partner AG is recruiting a Head Fund Operations Control / Middle Office for an international bank asset management client located in Zürich, Switzerland. The role involves leading the middle office investment fund sector team, overseeing data flows and data quality, and managing NAV calculations, fund key figures, cost transparency, and regulatory tasks.

Requirements

Applicants need a Bachelor or Master degree in Banking and Finance or Economics. A CPA or CISA qualification is considered an advantage. Candidates must have professional experience at a Big Four firm as an auditor or consultant in the funds sector, in an asset management middle office, or at a fund service provider, along with knowledge of Swiss and international funds and experience working with fund managers and financial market supervisory authorities like FINMA, FMA, and CSSF.

The profile requires interest in IT, process automation experience, and programming skills such as Python, SQL, and VBA alongside database knowledge. Strong analytical, conceptual, and attention to detail skills are necessary, together with a proactive, communicative, service-oriented, and high-performing personality capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines. Very good MS Excel proficiency and fluency in English are mandatory, and German language knowledge is an asset.
