GM, Head of Data

Overview

Talos Trading is seeking a General Manager and Head of Data to lead its data business and position it for sustainable growth. In this high-ownership role, the successful candidate will own the profit and loss, drive product strategy, and manage client relationships for the digital assets data offering built on the Coin Metrics acquisition. The work takes place within a hybrid-friendly environment with hubs in locations such as London and New York City.

Who can apply

Applicants must have proven experience leading a business unit or owning a profit and loss, ideally at a financial data, index, or market data provider. Candidates need a track record of growing or turning around a business with measurable results, alongside strong data product expertise in pricing, packaging, monetization, and go-to-market strategies. A background in capital markets is required, with digital assets experience considered a plus alongside a strong understanding and conviction of the asset class. Applicants should also bring experience in building and leading research, product, or data science teams, sound commercial judgment, executive presence, and a builder's mindset suited for fast-moving environments.
