Overview
The Global Compassion Coalition is looking for a Head of Social & Digital Brand to lead its online presence and strengthen engagement across digital platforms. The organisation works across areas including children and youth, civic engagement, climate change, education, human rights and civil liberties. This is a contract or freelance role that is 100% remote and can be done from anywhere in the world.
What you get
Pay is USD $30 to $35 per hour for about 15 hours per week, with flexible, asynchronous scheduling and occasional team meetings. The expected start date is 1 October 2026.
What the role involves
The successful candidate will turn long-form videos into clips, reels, shorts and carousel posts for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Substack, keeping to roughly two to three high-impact posts per week. Other duties include writing captions, maintaining a consistent brand voice and visual identity, following world events and trends, developing influencer collaborations and partnerships, leading campaigns for events and fundraisers, engaging with the online community and managing content calendars in Asana.
Requirements
Applicants need at least three years of experience managing multi-channel social media with evidence of audience growth. They should be comfortable with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut or Final Cut and with Canva; familiarity with AI tools such as Opus Clip is desirable. An understanding of mindfulness, self-compassion, wellness or personal growth is important, along with strong visual judgement on pacing, typography, layout and lighting.
Native-level English is required and fluent Spanish is preferred. Candidates should be self-directed and able to produce polished content without detailed supervision.
