Fullstack Web Developer

Overview

Auterion is seeking a Fullstack Web Developer to join the Web Apps team at the Zurich office. The team is responsible for systems that provide connectivity and remote interfaces for fleet management and operations, including ingesting and analyzing flight telemetry data, managing and updating fleets, and integrating across the software stack. The role involves driving the development of new features, participating in architecture and design decisions, handling feature discovery and prototyping, integrating services between edge devices and centralized systems, and assisting the Customer Success team with debugging. Additional responsibilities include monitoring user usage patterns, refactoring existing services to minimize technical debt, maintaining third-party integrations, and writing clean, maintainable code.

Requirements

Candidates must have at least four years of experience in a Fullstack web development or similar role, along with Swiss or European Union citizenship. Applicants need strong proficiency in the Node.js ecosystem, the TypeScript ecosystem, and modern single-page applications, with a preference for the Vue.js ecosystem. Solid experience is required in Postgres and SQL operations such as queries, transactions, views, indexes, and triggers, as well as Prisma ORM systems, Docker and container orchestration, and continuous integration and deployment pipelines using GoCD and GitHub Actions. Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Datadog and Grafana is necessary, while Python proficiency is considered an advantage.
