Fullstack Engineer

Overview

Comand AI is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to join the engineering team and own features end to end, focusing on the interfaces and workflows clients interact with directly. This is a product engineering role where you will turn operational needs and field feedback into a durable core product, working from either the Paris or London locations.

Requirements

Applicants must have strong full-stack production experience with comfort owning both interfaces and backend systems, solid TypeScript and React, and Python experience or the ability to become productive quickly with FastAPI. A track record of taking features from an ambiguous problem through release and iteration is required, alongside product judgement and attention to detail in customer-facing workflows. Candidates must possess either EU or UK citizenship as a contractual requirement tied to defense contracts.

The hiring process begins with a 30-minute online talent screening covering background and motivation, followed by a 45-minute online technical screening assessing skills. Candidates who advance will attend a half-day onsite in Paris lasting three hours, which includes a system design session, re-engineering, and project presentation, concluding with a roundtable.
