Overview

Fòs Feminista is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversee key operational functions across its global feminist network. This senior executive role involves working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and the Strategic Management Team to translate organisational priorities into effective plans, strengthen internal systems, manage institutional risks, and support long-term sustainability. The position is fully remote within a global organisation dedicated to advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights for women, girls, and gender-diverse people.

This opportunity is suited to leaders with experience in international nonprofit management, organisational strategy, finance, operations, people management, legal affairs, or institutional development. Applicants should demonstrate experience leading or integrating several organisational functions, along with strong financial literacy and experience using budgets, forecasts, and analysis to guide decisions. Candidates need the ability to work across countries, cultures, legal environments, and distributed teams, alongside excellent judgement, communication, delegation, and decision-making skills. A commitment to feminist principles, sexual and reproductive health and rights, racial justice, and Global South leadership is required, together with professional fluency in English. Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, or French is considered an advantage.
