The officer joins a four-person team and works mainly on creative content writing, website management and media relations, while also supporting campaigns, social media and events.
Duties include writing and editing website articles, press releases, social posts, videos and campaign material, keeping a clear and consistent tone of voice, and turning complex European policy developments into stories relevant to young people. The officer leads website upkeep and coordinates with external web agencies, builds relationships with EU-focused and independent journalists, handles media requests and connects journalists to youth representatives, and tracks communications trends and impact.
