Engineering Manager

Overview

Finom is seeking an Engineering Manager for a full-time position based in the Netherlands, with the option to work remotely or in a hybrid model across Europe. In this role, the manager will lead a cross-functional team of five to ten engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA to deliver financial products for businesses across Europe.

Requirements

Applicants must have at least five years of software development experience building data-intensive production systems, a proven track record leading cross-functional engineering teams, and deep technical knowledge including hands-on experience with at least one common general-purpose language and platform such as C#/.NET, Java/JVM, JavaScript/Node, or Go, along with distributed architectures, databases, and messaging systems. Candidates should also possess experience in product-led organizations with international scope, strong business acumen connecting engineering to revenue and retention, familiarity with product metrics like DAU/MAU and conversion funnels, and exceptional English communication skills.
