Business Intelligence Data Architect

Overview

Contentstack is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Architect to shape the analytical architecture, data modeling standards, and engineering practices that power enterprise reporting, governed metrics, and AI-enabled analytics. In this role, the architect establishes scalable, reusable modeling frameworks across Snowflake and dbt, leads the implementation of governed semantic models, and collaborates across departments to build a foundation for data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Applicants need five to eight years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or data architecture, with at least three years in an architect capacity directly owning an analytical platform. Candidates must possess hands-on expertise in Snowflake architecture, expert-level experience with dbt, and a strong understanding of dimensional and semantic modeling. Additional requirements include advanced SQL skills, experience with Python, familiarity with cloud-native analytics environments, and strong communication skills for collaborating with globally distributed teams. Preferred qualifications include relevant Snowflake and dbt certifications, experience with Snowflake Cortex and Snowpark ML, background working with Salesforce as a source system, familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation architectures, and experience with BI tools and data governance frameworks.
