Consultant/Senior Consultant – Technical Advisory

Overview

Baringa is seeking an experienced Consultant or Senior Consultant to join its Technical Advisory practice. The firm delivers integrated technical and commercial advisory services to public-sector organisations, utilities, developers, lenders, and infrastructure investors. This position focuses particularly on district heating, process and non-process energy efficiency, and industrial decarbonisation.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor degree, an equivalent qualification, or a minimum of five years of substantial practical experience in chemical, process, mechanical, thermal, energy, or another relevant engineering discipline. An additional Master degree in an engineering discipline is considered desirable. Applicants need background experience in analysing industrial processes, generation technologies, or energy-intensive assets, along with an understanding of energy demand, supply, efficiency, and carbon impacts. Experience in contributing to technical feasibility, technical due diligence, asset assessment, optimisation, decarbonisation, or engineering advisory projects is required. Candidates must also be capable of linking engineering decisions with commercial considerations and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
