Co-Impact Is Hiring an Assistant, Philanthropy & Communications – Fully Remote UK Role Paying $74,000
Overview
Co-Impact is hiring an Assistant, Philanthropy & Communications to support its global philanthropy and communications team during a period of parental leave. Co-Impact brings together local changemakers and funders worldwide to strengthen health, education and economic systems, with an emphasis on gender equality and women's leadership. It provides large, flexible grants to locally rooted partners in Africa, Asia and Latin America, expects its partners' work to benefit more than 600 million people, and aims to deploy more than $1 billion by 2030.
The post is a fully remote, 13.5-month fixed-term role based in the UK. The annual gross salary is USD 74,000, pro-rated for the contract and paid in local currency equivalent, plus a benefits package.
The role
The assistant gives executive support to the Vice President of Philanthropy & Communications and administrative support to the Strategic Partnerships Director, including calendars, international travel and expenses. Other work includes coordinating team meetings with agendas, logistics, notes and follow-up tracking, supporting webinars, workshops and events, preparing presentations and documents, and helping colleagues as priorities shift. The role also covers CRM and knowledge management: keeping Salesforce records of contacts, organizations and funding opportunities accurate, uploading meeting notes, helping with pipeline management and organizing Box folders. Suggestions for improving processes are encouraged.
Requirements
Co-Impact seeks a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least five years supporting senior executives and globally distributed teams. Excellent written and spoken English and strong skills in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel are required, along with Salesforce or other CRM experience. Experience coordinating international travel, calendars and expenses is ideal, and philanthropy, nonprofit or development experience is desirable. Discretion, proactivity, cultural awareness and the ability to work across time zones matter. Applicants must be authorized to live and work in the United Kingdom, and relocation costs are not covered. Occasional early-morning or late-afternoon meetings and some international travel may be needed.
How to apply
Candidates submit a tailored CV and cover letter through the online portal, with the letter addressing relevant experience and confirming UK work authorization. Co-Impact notes that generic or clearly AI-generated applications are less competitive. Review is rolling, and the vacancy may close early.
