Overview

Christian Blind Mission (CBM) is recruiting a Scholarship and Communications Coordinator for its Inclusive Health Initiative (IHI) in Africa. CBM is an international development organisation with more than 100 years of experience, working to address disability-related poverty and build inclusive societies. Through the IHI it supports programmes that strengthen health systems and improve access to quality healthcare for people with disabilities and vulnerable communities.

The coordinator leads communications for the initiative and manages its scholarship programmes. This includes planning communication activities, promoting programme achievements, and producing case studies, social media content, website articles, newsletters, programme updates and publications. On the scholarship side, the coordinator manages applications, selection logistics, onboarding, documentation and communication with trainees, and coordinates with training institutions. The role serves as a central contact among CBM teams, universities, training institutions, government stakeholders, development partners and scholarship recipients, and keeps records such as scholarship databases, contracts, academic progress, financial documentation and reports.
