Overview

BTS Spark, the social impact and education practice of BTS, is hiring a Programme Manager for its UK team. The position is fully remote, full-time and permanent, with a salary of £36,000 to £40,000 per year. BTS Spark provides one-to-one leadership coaching, group learning, team development and organisational development, historically for schools, colleges and multi-academy trusts, and is expanding into higher education and non-profits. The manager works closely with the UK Director in a small core team alongside more than 30 UK-based coaches and facilitators.

Responsibilities cover planning and coordinating programme delivery, allocating coaches and facilitators, scheduling group sessions, managing logistics for in-person events, setting up programmes on digital platforms, using AI tools such as Claude to improve routine processes, reporting and data management, acting as a main client contact, preparing briefings, demonstrations and impact reports, responding to enquiries and quotations, supporting business development and proposals, coordinating LinkedIn and social media, updating the website, supporting alumni and marketing campaigns, maintaining financial systems, invoicing and purchase orders, supporting live virtual workshops and providing executive assistant support to the UK Director.

Requirements

Applicants need a strong background in programme planning, project management or operations management, and the ability to manage relationships with senior education and non-profit leaders. Essential skills are strong written communication and proofreading, attention to detail, financial literacy, CRM or database experience such as Salesforce or HubSpot, confidence with digital tools and AI assistants, intermediate Microsoft Office and a practical approach to problem-solving. Occasional calls outside UK working hours are expected. Education sector experience and a degree are desirable.

What you get

Benefits include 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a Christmas and New Year office closure, a 5% matched pension, life insurance, private medical insurance, a wellness coach, a healthcare app with video GP appointments and a cycle-to-work scheme.

How to apply

Applicants submit an up-to-date CV and a supporting statement of no more than two sides, and applications without a statement are not considered. Review is rolling.
