Overview

Ambitious Impact runs the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, a remote programme open to applicants anywhere in the world who want to launch a high-impact, evidence-based nonprofit. Since 2018 it has supported more than 100 founders in launching over 50 organisations in areas such as global health, animal welfare, poverty reduction, education, environmental challenges and economic development. Participants do not need their own idea. The research team identifies promising opportunities, and participants receive co-founder matching, expert training and mentorship in evaluating evidence, designing interventions, building operations, measuring impact and developing sustainable organisations.

The programme has two months of full-time online training and two weeks of in-person training in London, with transport and accommodation for the London part covered. Two 2027 cohorts are open. The first, in February 2027, focuses on farmed animal welfare, with a core programme from 1 February to 4 April 2027 and an exploration phase from 5 April to 5 July 2027. The second, in September 2027, focuses on health systems and livelihoods, with exact dates to be announced.

What you get

Participants receive a monthly stipend of about USD 5,000, adjusted for local cost of living, with extra support for those with higher financial needs. After the programme, founders pitch to aligned funders, and about 95 percent of projects receive seed funding, with recent grants of USD 150,000 to 190,000. Participants who decide not to launch a charity receive mentorship and career guidance toward other impactful opportunities.

Who can apply

Applicants from all professional backgrounds are welcome, including technology, research, healthcare and consulting, even without nonprofit experience. Ambitious Impact looks for leadership potential, evidence-based thinking, a record of strong results, a global impact mindset and adaptability across cultures.

How to apply

Applicants apply through the official application portal.
