Academic Dean

Overview

Pilgrim Theological College is seeking an Academic Dean to join the academic, theological, and relational life of the college and the University community. This position is a part-time, fixed-term, 0.8 full-time equivalent role based on site. The college operates within the Synod of Victoria and Tasmania as part of the Uniting Church in Australia and the University of Divinity.

What you get

The remuneration for this role ranges from AU$60,557.16 to AU$71,088.84 per annum, based on a proportional calculation of AU$115,000 to AU$135,000 pro rata, plus superannuation and benefits.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a doctorate in Theology or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Candidates need higher education experience in learning and teaching, alongside demonstrated skills in academic leadership, curriculum design and quality assurance, academic skills support, and higher education management. Successful candidates must undergo a National Criminal History Check, sign a Keeping Children Safe Code of Conduct, and obtain or hold a Working with Children Check.
