Working Student AI Engineer – LLMs, RAG & AI Agents

Overview

AgentixLake GmbH is seeking a Working Student AI Engineer specializing in LLMs, RAG, and AI agents. The role is remote and based out of Berlin, Germany, operating under a working student contract. The employer is a Data and AI engineering consultancy based in Hamburg, Germany, focusing commercially on the DACH region, the Gulf region, and selected international opportunities.

Who can apply

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a university degree program in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or a related technical discipline. Candidates are required to have strong practical Python skills, evidence of delivered software, and hands-on experience with an LLM application involving retrieval, tool use, or structured outputs. Additional qualifications include comfort with APIs, JSON, Git, code review, and clear English communication. Experience with Amazon Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, FastAPI, Docker, vector databases, or self-hosted models is considered valuable.
