Trainee Investment Team (Junior Analyst)

Overview

Philos & Partners Ltd. is seeking a Trainee Investment Team Junior Analyst to join the organization in Zürich, Switzerland. This role offers direct collaboration with senior members of the Investment Team and broad exposure to investment management, portfolio management, and client relationships. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience across the entire investment process, encompassing portfolio monitoring, client reporting, Investment Committee preparation, and coordination between investment, client management, and IT departments. The workload is flexible at sixty to one hundred percent, depending on candidate availability and experience. Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates.

Requirements

Applicants may be high-potential students, recent graduates, or junior professionals possessing strong analytical, numerical, and organizational skills alongside a high attention to detail. Candidates should have a genuine interest in financial markets and investments, excellent proficiency in Excel, and the ability to understand and structure complex processes. A proactive, hands-on mindset is required, coupled with excellent communication skills and curiosity about technology, artificial intelligence, and automation. A C2 level command of both German and English is mandatory, while French language skills represent an advantage. Technical competencies such as Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Query, VBA, APIs, or workflow automation are beneficial but not mandatory, as this is not an IT position.
