Software Engineering Internship - London
Overview
Samsara offers a software engineering internship based in London, England, providing students with the opportunity to work on challenging real-world projects involving IoT data, petabytes of real-time data, and products that impact physical operations globally. Interns receive autonomy, responsibility, and mentorship while tackling engineering challenges across backend infrastructure, full stack development, mobile applications using React Native, and embedded software.
Requirements
Applicants must currently be in their penultimate year of study or the second-to-last year of an integrated Master or MEng degree. Candidates need to be on track to complete a Bachelor or integrated Master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science, with an expected graduation no earlier than Summer 2028. Applicants should have experience with technologies similar to the engineering stack, which includes Golang, TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and React Native.
What you get
Participants in this program gain hands-on experience handling millions of IoT devices, access to AI tools with generous token allotments, and exposure to customers and engineering leadership. This is a full-time, paid hybrid experience requiring three days per week in the London office, during which interns must not be enrolled in school full-time. Visa sponsorship may be offered for suitable candidates.
