Overview

Mirakl - Labs offers a six-month software engineering internship focused on ads, based in Paris, France. The intern joins the tech team to contribute to the development of an artificial intelligence agent that autonomously generates and executes test scenarios, which covers exploratory testing, regression testing, and new feature validation. Under the guidance of experienced engineers and quality assurance team members, the intern helps design, write, and run test cases, explores different technical approaches, benchmarks results, and applies existing programming skills to the project.

Requirements

Applicants must be currently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field at an engineering school, university, or through a career change, and must be available for a six-month internship. Candidates need prior hands-on development experience acquired through an academic project, personal project, apprenticeship, or internship, along with a good understanding of a programming language and proficiency in working with large language models and developing related skills or agents. An appreciation for clean code, design patterns, and software testing best practices is also required. Furthermore, applicants must be fluent in French and possess professional proficiency in both written and spoken English, while demonstrating strong teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge.

What you get

The internship provides a monthly pay range of 1,200 to 1,400 euros. Interns gain hands-on experience working alongside technical teams in a global marketplace solutions environment utilizing technologies such as Java 21, Spring Boot, ReactJS, Kafka, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Git.

How to apply

Candidates submit their applications by selecting the apply option. The hiring process begins with a manual CV screening by a recruiter, followed by a ten-minute conversational screening utilizing an artificial intelligence talent ambassador named Emma, which must be completed within three days. Successful candidates then participate in a thirty-minute recruiter interview, a forty-five-minute technical discussion with the hiring manager, and a one-hour STAR interview with team members to discuss company values and culture.
