Overview

Alan, a health insurance company that combines insurance, prevention and care in one experience, is offering a six-month General Secretary Associate internship based in Paris, starting in March 2027. Alan works with more than 40,000 companies, serves over one million members, has passed 800 million euros in annual recurring revenue and has a team of more than 1,000 people. The intern supports the General Secretary on top business priorities, including building new processes inside and outside the company.

What you will do

The work varies with company priorities and spans several areas. In sales and business, the associate prepares meetings with external stakeholders, follows up afterwards and helps organise events with investors and customers. In corporate and governance, the associate supports research on regulators, fundraising and governance, including board pack preparation and targeted legal and market research. Internal projects include salary grids, internal frameworks and process improvement. Brand and communication tasks involve HR and corporate presence at events and on social channels, and organising events with schools in the offices. The role also involves cross-functional product and technical projects and helping recruit the next associate.

Who can apply

The internship is for gap year or end-of-study students and is not open to MBA students. Candidates who have completed at least the first year of a master's are welcome from business, engineering, law, political science, communication, HR, data science or mathematics programmes, and applicants without a diploma who have built a project or company are also invited.

Requirements

The employer looks for proactive, curious people with analytical judgment, versatility, organisation, autonomy and concise communication, plus an appetite for automation, AI or data analysis. Fluency in English and French is required.

What you get

Perks include top-of-the-range equipment, flexible vacation and working hours, a transit benefit, a training policy and a dedicated coach from day one.
