CTO Founder Associate - internship

Overview

Alan is a health insurance company that combines insurance, prevention and care in one user experience, working with more than 40,000 companies and over one million members. It is offering a six-month internship as CTO Founder Associate in Paris, with an immediate start. Founder Associates support the CTO and senior colleagues on top business priorities such as unlocking growth, aligning on strategy and building new processes and standards, working in a non-traditional environment on a wide range of tasks.

What you will do

Projects can touch almost any subject, including exploring new technologies, implementing internal AI solutions to optimise processes, contributing to strategy, market analysis and growth modelling, identifying product opportunities, supporting board packs, legal research and public affairs, developing the company presence at events and on social media, and coordinating tenders and supporting marketing and partnerships. Recurring tasks include coordinating weekly internal communication, supporting the CTO with weekly social posts, organising a monthly company gathering and recruiting the next batch of associates. By the end, the intern will have contributed to at least one strategic company project, worked with most teams across the company and helped improve the associates team's processes.

Requirements

The role calls for analytical and critical thinking, business and product sense, strong execution and collaboration, versatility, organisation and autonomy, clear communication, a growth mindset, high agency and fluent spoken and written English. Applicants should be comfortable building with AI tools and have something to show for it, such as a tool, prototype or workflow, and a conceptual grasp of technical systems so they can work with engineers.
