CARE Internship Job 2026: Strategy and Transformation Opportunity
Overview
CARE is offering a paid Intern, Strategy and Transformation position, based primarily in Washington, DC, with Atlanta, Georgia listed as another possible location. The internship requires 15 to 20 hours per week and runs from August 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The work is in English, and no travel is expected. The intern supports CARE's Strategy and Transformation activities. Duties include preparing meeting materials such as presentations, agendas and briefing documents, tracking action items and following up with stakeholders, tracking project progress, compiling reports, managing SharePoint sites and supporting procurement processes. The intern also researches trends, competitive landscapes or sector issues to inform leadership decisions and summarizes findings in reports, and supports special projects as needed.
Expected outputs include reports and presentations based on landscape and internal document research, agendas and action lists, meeting presentations, completed processes such as procurement, and improved SharePoint sites.
Requirements
No specific degree, GPA or prior professional experience is listed. Strong organization, communication, research, writing and attention to detail are useful, as are Microsoft Office, presentation, research tools, project coordination and SharePoint skills. The ability to manage several assignments, meet deadlines and work collaboratively also helps.
