Business Development Intern

Overview

Urban Connect AG offers a six-month Business Development Internship based in Schlieren, with work conducted at an office in Zurich. The position provides an accelerated learning experience where interns work closely with the Sales, Account Management, Product, and Operations teams to help companies manage sustainable mobility.

Who can apply

Candidates should hold an excellent degree in fields such as business, economics, data science, engineering, or industrial engineering, alongside some practical experience gained through an internship, part-time job, personal project, or entrepreneurial initiative. Applicants need excellent German language skills, good English skills, and ideally French as well. Key personal attributes include an analytical mindset, familiarity with Excel, creativity, curiosity, and the ability to think outside the box. Candidates should also have experience with artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot, combined with sound judgment.

Requirements

Interns are responsible for analyzing usage and market data to generate recommendations for corporate mobility solutions, managing independent projects such as assessing sales opportunities and product analysis, and understanding platform setup, billing, and vehicle connections. Additional duties involve utilizing AI tools to improve research and everyday processes, identifying prospective customers, creating presentations and quarterly reviews, maintaining customer records in HubSpot, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve customer inquiries.
