Anzisha Fellowship: Up to $40,000 in Prizes for Young African Entrepreneurs | Apply Now
Overview
The Anzisha Fellowship is a multi-year development programme designed to support young African entrepreneurs who are actively running businesses and creating employment in their communities. The programme offers a structured journey combining digital education, personalised coaching, practical business activities, and peer learning to help participants build sustainable ventures.
What you get
Participants receive milestone-based cash stipends linked to their business progress, designed to encourage responsible capital use and disciplined financial management. At the end of the second year, fellows can pitch their ventures and compete for a share of a $40,000 prize pool distributed across four categories: Job Creation, Revenue Growth, Storytelling, and Systems of Delivery. The fellowship also provides finance readiness support, experiential learning with established entrepreneurs, self-paced and live educational courses, coaching, and access to a network of nearly 300 young entrepreneurs across Africa.
Who can apply
Applicants must be citizens of an African country between the ages of 15 and 22, and must possess a valid national identity document or passport. Candidates must be founders who lead an already operating business or project, rather than just an idea, and must commit at least 20 hours per week to working on their venture.
How to apply
Interested candidates should review official application details to prepare information about their ventures, their roles as founders, and their commitment to growing the business. Applications are submitted online through the designated application portal.
