Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 2027 | Fully Funded | EMJM Scholarship
Overview
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) are international master's programmes delivered by a consortium of at least three higher education institutions from different countries. Students study in at least two countries, combining coursework and research with practical elements such as internships or thesis preparation. Graduates receive a joint degree, multiple degrees or a combination, depending on the programme. Most programmes last between 12 and 24 months.
The study route and participating universities depend on the specific Joint Master chosen, and programmes may include institutions in Europe and other eligible countries worldwide. Each programme is listed in the official Erasmus Mundus Catalogue.
Who can apply
Students from all over the world can apply. Applicants need a bachelor's degree or must be in the final year of their bachelor's studies and graduate before the master's begins. A bachelor's-equivalent level of learning may also qualify if it is officially recognised under the rules of the degree-awarding country. Each programme sets its own academic, language and other admission requirements, such as a specific background or relevant experience, so these should be checked on the programme's own website.
What you get
Scholarships cover participation costs, including full tuition fees, and contribute to travel, visa costs and a living allowance for the best-ranked students.
How to apply
Applicants choose a programme from the catalogue, prepare documents such as transcripts, proof of language proficiency, a motivation letter and recommendation letters, and submit the application directly to the programme following its guidelines. Applications are assessed on academic merit, motivation and fit with the programme. After acceptance, students complete enrolment steps including visa and accommodation arrangements.

Application deadlines typically fall between October and January for the following academic year, and successful applicants are generally notified between March and May.
