Overview

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Officer for Sub-Saharan Africa to lead regional funding programmes and support volunteer communities, nonprofit partners, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. This remote position sits within the Community Resources team, which provides funding to organisations and individual contributors within the Wikimedia movement. The role focuses on helping shape regional funding priorities, managing grant portfolios, strengthening community organisations, and supporting participatory decision-making.
